From Mother Russia, Abstract Deviation are making a lot of noise in the modern progressive a.k.a. djent scene. Mathy polyrhythms, changing time signatures, insane musicianship and female vocals are what distinguishes them when you first listen to them.

Frost* – Milliontown re-release

English Prog rock band Frost* has just re-released their debut album Milliontown on bandcamp with a few bonuses! If you’ve never checked this album out I highly suggest you grab it! Or at least listen to it first. This is a unique band that combines a high production pop sound with some awesome prog compositions. The band is currently working on their third album, and after that will be releasing a “big ol’ remixed, tweaked and remastered physical version” of Milliontown. Both of which I can’t wait for!
