Joey Eppard, frontman and founder of the band 3 recently released his first live solo performance DVD. This project was fan-supported from the start by earning over $9,000 through Kickstarter. The DVD features 29 songs clocking in at just about 2 and a half hours, and features tons of guests (including fellow 3 members Billy Riker and Chris ‘Gartdrumm’ Gartmann).

Joey’s slap acoustic style is very unique and paired with brilliant songwriting and a soulful voice, creates a performance that is like no other.

Imagine Spiral Architect firing their singer and writing a sophomore album, you’d get approximately what Continuo Renacer offers us on The Great Escape.

Seriously guys, you should all get a copy of this amazing album! So GO HERE!

Like Continuo Renacer on facebook because they truly deserve it.

Thank You Scientist – Maps of Non-Existent Places

by Jeff Nixon

3035046731-1This New Jersey based prog band really pushes the progressive genre with their album “Maps of Non-Existent Places.” Their use of orchestral instruments such as Violins, Horns, Trumpets, and Saxophones really adds a unique dimension to their songs.

Their blend of genres is also very impressive, as elements of funk, fusion, and even middle eastern can be heard throughout this album.

If you enjoy bands like Coheed and Cambria and The Mars Volta then I highly recommend you check these guys out.
