Dream Theater – Dream Theater (Sept. 24th)

Today Dream Theater have announced that their new self-titled twelfth studio album will be released on September 24th!

I’m totally psyched for this album as A Dramatic Turn of Events was definitely one of the better Dream Theater albums in recent years, and with Mike Mangini being present for the entirety of the new album’s sessions, It’s likely that this one will be even better!

Prelude Final Fantasy Guitar Cover – FamilyJules7x

FamilyJules7x released a new guitar cover today for the Final Fantasy Prelude and Prologue themes, and it is EPIC! This is Jules’ third year of covering video game tunes on guitar, and this song really showcases his talent. The Prelude theme is one of my favorite Final Fantasy themes, and I’m really impressed with how Jules handled the arpeggios at the beginning. Sure it’s not perfect but it’s impressive nonetheless! In other news, the band is now looking for whether or not they should go with a label, in which case the album will be delayed a little. They are also finishing the album artwork’s design software so we can all create a design… I don’t really get it, but we surely will understand what’s that about soon.
