You’re Lucky, God, That I Cannot Reach You is Down I Go‘s sophomore full-length release, after “This Is Dinocore”, as well as two shorter EP’s and a Christmas single. The band crowdfunded their new album via Kickstarter where it was completely funded (and I didn’t know or completely forgot about it, therefore didn’t even contribute myself!), and you can now stream the entirety of it on Upset Magazine. I can safely say that this is their best work to date. The recording quality is excellent, a thing that was sometimes lacking before, … Read more

Here lies Unexpect…

The album contains four tracks of decent length (3, 13, 10, and 8 minutes) and with epic titles (such as “Main Sequence (Dacelo novaeguineae)”. The money raised will serve to print vinyls – if that’s your thing – and surplus money will serve to fund … Read more

Help Thinking Plague fund their 2016 album!

The avant-garde group Thinking Plague needs your help to fund their seventh full-length album. With about 45 minutes of material and 6 songs, the album with the projected name of Hope Against Hope would come somewhere in September of 2016. The band asks $8,000 for studio time and production of the album. Right now they’re at just under $2,000, so almost a quarter of the way there and there are only 3 days passed! Feel free to contribute any amount!… Read more
