C-Jeff – Preschtale

Feb22, 2013 by Dæv Tremblay

Coming from Mother Russia is Virgil Donati and Derek Sherinian playing with old video gaming systems.

Chiptune, 8-bit, electronica, progressive, and a heavy dose of groove is what characterizes the artist. Melodies, riffs, solos, ambiances are all absolutely mindblowing.

Seriously, it’s like an 8-bit Planet X record, which says a lot about the talent of Dmitry Zhemkov, who is the one behind most of this!

If you have the slightest appreciation for music, you will absolutely fall in love with this amazing album. And I’m at a lack of words for it. It’s just… perfect!
