This band is so much better now that there is someone singing over it all.

The music was already pretty awesome all alone, but Mike Semesky is doing such a great job that it places the band in between all the great djent bands like Ever Forthright, Periphery, Novållo, and Limit Zero.

Continuo Renacer – The Great Escape

When a band stays this much in your memory, it’s a sign that it’s probably a good band.

A few years back, I was introduced to this band via their still-up-to-date myspace (surprisingly), and the song Tap That Angel struck me because it was not only beautiful, but there was a shitload of musicianship inside it, and all of the other tracks, too!

Next thing I know (like a few hours ago) is that they’ve released an album last autumn. The first thing I did then was to go and buy it via CMD.

Sectioned – Outlier

Crushing.

Droning.

Spastic.

Jazzy.

This album is a serious buy.

Seriously.

It’s like Lady Gaga and Mumford and Sons have an orgy and get a monstrous children that doesn’t look a thing like their parents (even if we don’t know which is the father).

Not even close.

Some might wonder if it’s even human. And hunt it until it’s presumably dead in the woods.

But it’s not.

And its urge for revenge only grows bigger, and stronger over the years.

But the villagers have forgotten.

But he hasn’t.
