Don’t let yourself be fooled by its simple appearance and instrumentation, because Embracing Uncertainty is certainly the best acoustic music album I’ve heard in a long while!

You know Japan? You remember Japanese metal? (Example 1; Example 2) 五人一首 are not so different.

1 - coverIn Torment is a technical death metal band from Brazil. Sphere of Metaphysical Incarnations is their third and latest album, released through Rapture Records… no, not this one, THIS one (and yes, that’s a myspace link).

They make that traditional kind of tech-death, nothing too fancy or sparkly, just great riffs, blast beats, and cool guitar solos. Nott has, since the project’s inception, been about ultimate heaviness and bleakness. I’ve known this one-man project since the Obsidian Depths EP, and I have also downloaded their first work, Devouring Deities.
