The Monégasque duo known as Hardcore Anal Hydrogen just released their fourth album, under the Hypercut title. I wasn’t enthralled by any of their previous output, but I might have to reconsider, given that this one tickles my fancy! Cybergrindr – Fully Automated Psychic Violence

Cybergrindr is a probably-solo project from British Columbia. It is one of the few bands whose name actually reflects the genre they play… and they do it very right! Cybergrindr’s cybergrind is far from mundane. They see the opportunities the genre brings them, and they take them. Crystal Larva – Sacrificial Blade

Only available on a very limited edition cassette tape, Crystal Larva‘s Sacrificial Blade is an intriguing phenomenon. The ten-minute, self-titled track is the only thing there is on tape, and the format makes it less than ideal for an accurate playback of the original material – the excerpt available on bandcamp is of much better quality than what you will be able to get on any tape player -, but it’s an interesting experience and composition.
