Number Two: Brojob – The Heaviest Album of All Times

I’ve been on the first hype train from Brojob station when the band released their first album, and even though the novel factor diminished with time, I’m still a big fan of these huge riffs, creative songwriting, and humorous aesthetics. This album is good, but you shouldn’t take it seriously.

Number One: Humanity’s Last Breath – Välde

I still remember putting this album on for the first time, in my car on a long and isolated road. The way the riffs turn and the songs shift just compelled me to raise the volume and be physically assaulted by the soundwaves. This feeling of awe is seldom met when listening to new material these days, but I felt like a teenager once again, finding the heaviest new thing out there, and for that, Välde is numero uno!
