That’s right! Winter’s approach is palpable, the merry cold hands of mister Invernal push down on us in the morning to stay in the warm comfort under the sheets, and his stingy breath just whispers to us “Stay inside”, and his frosty sperm falls down on the land…
Well… 2013 is coming to an end, and there has been TONS of awesome, challenging, mind-boggling, strange, and bold albums this year (and the list keeps growing!). We here at Can This Even Be Called Music? have for mission to spread amazing underground bands and, in the mean time, allowing you, cherished readers, to get to know said amazing bands!!!
Album of the Year awards are totally bigoted and full of themselves. Often, money and promotion will beat creativity and honesty, and that’s a fucking shame. As a totally underground blog, we do not make any money off of promoting bands, and bonuses (free digital album downloads, for the most part) are rare and far between. So, we owe nothing to anyone except ourselves, and our music-worshipping readers. We can really reward music for what it is: an art, not a business.
With this in mind, I quickly searched through 2013 albums that came out, and handpicked the top creamy batch (reaaaaally creamy). I came up with 16 (because that makes a perfectly square picture) albums that you must not miss. I repeat, you really MUST LISTEN TO them all. They are, each and every one, too awesome for you to miss on them.
Let’s begin, shall we?

Great selection, nice to see Wormed, Gigan and Hybrid (by the way, where is their audio link?)…but the new DEP is more of the same.
Oh you’re right! I totally forgot to put Hybrid’s stream there! My bad.
